A classic Danish men’s lunch calls for both delicate fish dishes (preferably with aquavit), more robust meat dishes (with the dark specialty beer) and strong cheese (preferably with more aquavit …).

Our men’s lunch requires a healthy appetite and a few relaxed hours, which can only be pleasant, after which they can become quite festive …

Lunch is served on platters in three courses, including rye bread, white bread, butter and duck fat.

– Seasonal herring – Home-marinated herring with the best seasonal ingredients

– Fried salted herring with pan-fried onions, beets and mustard

– Pan-fried plaice fillet with remoulade

– Smoked salmon with crisp fennel and crème of smoked cheese

– Tartelet with chicken in asparagus

– Warm rib roast with red cabbage and sauerkraut

– Seasonal tartare

– Old cheese with rum, cheese and onion

The food was cooked to perfection. Best Parisian steak I’ve tasted by far. Plaice fillets fried to melting perfection. The service level is also top class with the finesse of experience and understanding of which table you’re facing. My first visit to Kronborg. The food is fully on par with – and sometimes better than – Palægade or similar. I’m a new regular customer.

Wonderful restaurant
Wonderful restaurant with the most delicious food and fantastic service. Have been there several times and never left disappointed, but instead left Kronborg with a smile on my face and a belly full of the good food. Absolutely the best open sandwiches in town.
