Easter feast

We celebrate spring with a traditional Danish Easter lunch with some of the seasons’ delicacies and our regulars’ favourites. Enjoy your Easter lunch accompanied by tasty draft beers from local artisan brewery, Nørrebro Bryghus, and perhaps a couple of “sensible” Easter aquavits.

When Easter approaches we know that spring is on the way – or maybe it already has arrived…

And it is a much revered Danish custom to celebrate the event over a cosy meal with your partner, family, friends or business connections.

We follow the Danish traditions by serving eggs and lamb for the Easter meal and up the game a bit with some of the best seasonal ingredients as well as a couple of our regulars’ favourites.

We serve two versions of our Easter meal

Easter platter

The Easter Feast is served family style in three servings.

– Herring with ramson crème and “smiling” egg
– Kronborg’s gravlax with lime crème
– Pan-fried fillet of plaice with ’remoulade’ and lemon
– Roast ‘beef’ of lamb with crème of baked apples and pickled red onions
– Roast pork with red cabbage and pickled cucumber
– Cheese of the season with compote

Price: DKK 415.00 | per person

Easter Feast Menu

The Easter Feast is served family style in three servings.

– Herring with ramson crème and “smiling” egg
– Egg with hand-peeled Greenlandic Shrimps, mayonnaise and dill
– Kronborg’s gravlax with lime crème
– Pan-fried fillet of plaice with ’remoulade’ and lemon
– Vol-au-vent with chicken in asparagus
– Roast ‘beef’ of lamb with crème of baked apples and pickled red onions
– Roast pork with red cabbage and pickled cucumber surt
– Cheese of the season with compote

Price: DKK 525.00 | per person (min. two people)

Beers for the Easter Feast

We recommend the below beers from local artisan brewery, Nørrebro Bryghus, for the Easter Feast

– New York Lager – intense malt flavour, slightly bitter with a note of flowers
– Ravnsborg Rød – full-bodied and aromatic with a seductive sweetness

Wonderful restaurant
Wonderful restaurant with the most delicious food and fantastic service. Have been there several times and never left disappointed, but instead left Kronborg with a smile on my face and a belly full of the good food. Absolutely the best open sandwiches in town.
