Christmas lunch

We visited Restaurant Kronborg for our annual Christmas party featuring smørrebrød, and it was our top choice this year. The food was delicious and filling, and we had a wonderful lunch. The staff were kind and welcoming, making our visit to Restaurant Kronborg a great experience.

What a great place! Fantastic atmosphere, smiling and truly attentive servers, but most importantly: amazing open-faced sandwiches, a delicious menu, and an exciting selection of drinks, including various beers, wines, schnapps, and more. We had fantastic Skagen Toast, pan-fried plaice fillet, potatoes, and homemade liver pâté! Highly recommended.

On Saturday, June 14, we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with our children, children-in-law, and grandchildren—it was a wonderful lunch for all of us at your lovely restaurant, Kronborg. You made this day extra special for us with a truly delightful lunch, and your homemade schnapps was unbeatable. And not least, your fantastic staff—we were in the best of hands, and “our” server made the experience extraordinary for us.

The food is absolutely top-notch, and the service is both professional and understated, just as it should be—which is why I keep coming back to Kronborg time and time again. Plus, it’s often possible to get an early table, even if you haven’t made a reservation several days in advance.

They serve really good food at reasonable prices, and their staff is probably among the best you can find in Copenhagen. Professional, friendly, and cheerful, they’re competent and fun without being over the top—in short, they’re talented. Thanks for that.

A wonderful restaurant with the most delicious food and fantastic service. I’ve been there several times and have never left disappointed; instead, I’ve always left Kronborg with a smile on my face and a belly full of great food. Definitely the best smørrebrød in town.

The food was cooked to perfection. The best Parisian steak I’ve ever tasted, by far. The plaice fillets were fried to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Their selection of homemade schnapps is a must-try. The person in charge really knows his schnapps. The service was also top-notch, with the finesse that comes from experience and an understanding of each table’s needs. This was my first visit to Kronborg. The food is every bit as good as—and at times even better than—places like Palægade. I’m a new regular.

We just had an absolutely fantastic lunch. A cozy restaurant. Well-prepared, delicious open-faced sandwiches. We were served by a very cheerful and professional staff, and had a fun little back-and-forth with the sweetest waiter. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. Their risalamande is highly recommended.

Fantastic staff with a twinkle in their eyes, helpful with portion sizes and explanations. Delicious ingredients and quite reasonable for the price, considering the standard. I’ll definitely be back. Even though it was crowded, the noise never became overwhelming or unpleasant.
